Inspired by the nature, Bobo Tsang likes taking photos during traveling. She likes the nature because of its beauty. People could have the feeling of being inside the nature and see different colours in different seasons. She wants to capture the beauty of nature and incorporate them into her jewellery design.
Bobo Tsang always likes to combine glass with metal to create a series of jewellery because glass is her favorite material. After melting, it can transform into different forms. The ideas of design are derived from her traveling photos.
The concept of this series is “Growth”. She understands plants can’t keep their shape forever, so she wants to keep the beauty of the plants in her jewellery. She uses glass rods to represent the linear and the shape of plants. Shades of green are used to represent the colour of nature. Geometric forms in metal contrast with the organic glass shapes.
